Wants more game time, we also have Gomez and Milly to cover.

    One would think so.

Saying that, if that's the compromise that gets/got Carvalho over the line, I would say "we'll manage" when it comes to right-back depth for the remainder of the season.

Milner can do it here and there, so can Gomez. That's before dipping into the younger lads that are busting for a game.

*Touch wood* if we fail to win the League or the Champion's League, I doubt we'll be pinning it on the quality of our right-back cover if Trent is out. We have enough firepower to win matches and enough defensive solidity to keep our losses to a minimum - we've lost 2 games all season, in all comps!

Looking very much in the balance, could it be an injury time winner?

Baffles me how it’s always left so late that it’s all agreed but won’t go through ,

It appears they may apply a Deal Sheet allowing a further 2 hours till 1am to get the deal done

Yup. Pearce now saying that a deal has now been agreed and will be concluded after the deadline.

Not surprised to read that he’s mates with Harvey Elliot. I wonder if that played a part in his decision.

I’ve actually now got a reason to watch Fulham for the rest of the season.

Boom. Happy days. Not sure why but I've got a feeling about this one.
