I'd love Kaide to get some minutes. It might be possible with the 5-subs rule and there will be minutes opening up from the absence of Origi, plus the possibility of a Minamino sale as well.
Points are so valuable mind - big step up - plus we need to progress in Cup games if we wish to provide Cup minutes to players - a fine one to balance.

Who will be replacing big Div? Can't see us not making any signings on the back of such an outstanding season. Some may feel the champions league will top it, for me it's already been topped by Klopp signing an extension.

I don't think we replaced Wijnaldum with Elliott at all.
I think we "replaced" him with Thiago combined the aggregate minutes of other players getting more minutes than they were previously, spreading the load around a little. Whether it worked or not is subject to discussion of course. I might update the appearances on the relevant thread actually - had almost completely forgotten I made one!
People get very caught up in the "incoming replaces outcoming" but we most likely brought Thiago in half-knowing that Wijnaldum wasn't going to sign up, even though it wasn't said publicly at the time. In the same way (presenting a hypothetical) if Carvalho comes in to do the Firmino role and Bobby sees out his contract, leaves, then Carvalho gets more minutes, then he replaced Bobby - even though it wasn't Bobby out, Carvalho in.

You're probably right. Diaz is an early summer signing. No doubt. Carvalho and a new mid will be it I'd say. I'll be very surprised if Origi is replaced. We have 5 players across the front. It's arguable that we don't need to when you factor in how many games Origi has figured in this season.
Definitely should have had more, unlikely that we'll see him next Saturday either if he couldn't get a start against Saints.
