I wouldn't want another Afcon player, Sangare's a categoric no for me, when Mo, Mane and Keita do eventually leave, we need to try and avoid bringing in Afcon players in key positions who are key performers for me, with the margins so small, we can't have 4 or 5 buggering off for a month at the busiest time of the season every other season

Got a problem with playing Jota anywhere but CF, if he doesn’t score he doesn’t contribute much. As poor as Salah has been since AFCON, he still ended up with the most assists. Jota’s hold up play and general football as been poor. He has great acceleration and has scored some excellent and important goals but he really needs to up the rest of his game

I see Carvalho is only 5ft 5ins, don’t think he’ll be coming back to mark many CB’s at corners

He's 5'7" I believe, I think he'll be play a variety of positions, any of the 3 in a 4231, LFWD or RFWD in a 433 or LCM or RCM in a 433, I think the idea is he'll be a Silva type for us

I foresee him coming in and taking the Minamino role (if a buyer comes in) with a view to eventually being taking Firmino's role if/as/when Bobby leaves at the end of his contract.

Which could work out okay as he wouldn't be replacing peak-Bobby/undroppable-Bobby - he'd be replacing a player who is behind Salah, Mane, Diaz and arguably Jota in the pecking order.

He does look good albeit clips from the championship. He's got skills,pace,a great shot on him, plays off the left or in the middle as a 10. All the attributes you'd want basically.
It'll obviously be a big jump and I'll be surprised if he gets a lot of games but you never know.
Looks like a Coutinho type to me and that's a kind of player we could defo use.
