Come on Miller, a man of your age and experience, who grew up in an age in which our news regularly reported the troubles and Israeli atrocities on their neighbours surely understands the entire antisemitism narrative is false and the creation of the Israeli Gov to avoid just criticism and sanction for its continuing atrocities on the people of Palestine and continuing breaches of international law.

Corbyn had the policies this country has desperately needed for decades, he was unfortunately an idealist idiot also. The so called 'left' of the Labour party continually let those who need their help down as much as those on the so called right let the nation down by remaining in the Labour party solely to prevent it from ever gaining power for the purposes it was formed. i talk a lot about status quo and people subjected to it being victims of it, in society in general, but also in the groups or enterprises they are involved in

That Corbyn and all the so called 'left' or 'socialists' haven't yet grasped that over the last 40 years the UK media have made the words or phrases 'socialist' 'left wing' etc 'dirty words' that millions of people are now pre-dispositioned to have an automatic severe adverse reaction to, that no amount of reasoned and evidence based debate will cut through or overcome and that as such, self labelling themselves as 'left wing' or 'socialist' isn't a very good idea at all, reframing the argument that politics isn't about left or right but right or wrong to remove the years of adverse programing from politics and not self labelling is most likely a far better approach

    Brilliant post 19.

From the bizarre to the sublime. I wouldn’t expect many to accept it though. We are all so well conditioned sadly.

How do MOTD with this season's directive of 'meaningful contact' and the numerous instances we have seen to date of considerable contact, in the box, not viewed as being 'enough' to send a player to ground, so no foul being given, possibly view the second penalty given for a 'foul' on Rudiger as a penalty?

The player accidentally clips the back of his leg, it isn't his standing leg, it certainly isn't enough contact to make him go to ground or to interfere with him continuing with his possession of the ball, on this season's directive on meaningful contact and what we've seen to date and even in our game today v Villa with what was a foul on Robbo not deemed 'enough' by our match officials, how the fuck does that slight clip on Rudiger qualify unequivocably as a pen
