I had a quick glance at their fixture list not too long ago and (depending on rescheduling of certain games of course) they have a run of "easier" fixtures right up until March, then their season gets a little bit hectic in terms of playing a sequence of sides you'd expect to give them a game - plus the juggling of the Champion's League.

Looking at what Spurs and Arsenal are doing just now, Man United are essentially under massive pressure to make the absolute most of the run of "easier" games, otherwise you'd suspect it will be the Europa next season.

They're capable of 4th, but Arsenal's recent run of form and Conte's arrival at Spurs has made the picture less clear.
It's interesting to see spurs and arsenal doing well again, like the old days again with the big "6"

This obsession with Utd losing out on top 4 place resulting in more London clubs in there instead does Liverpool no favours. I'm convinced our long term success is best served by the London clubs missing out.

I noticed loads of empty seats at the West Ham game yesterday.

I would never want man-united to finish in the top 4. bottom 4 would be better

More concerned about the financially doped Manchester-based club that hoovers up League trophies these days and could be a mainstay in the Top 4 for another decade or two without slipping out

Then the other Manchester-based club with a huge stadium capacity, 20 League titles and 3 Champion's Leagues to their name.

The likes of Arsenal, Tottenham and West Ham pose no current threat to our record success rate in Europe or any chance of reaching 19 League titles in future.

Manchester City continuing to buy £50m players for back-ups and the possibility of Man United getting their act together and building a side that could win a 21st Title before we win a 20th and 21st is a more pressing concern.

You lot go on about bad tackles and how they're all against us

What I DO NOT SEE is Mortons tackle mention at all

you do know Ricardo Pereira has broken his leg? fractured fibula 6-8 weeks apparently could of been worse

people are so biased on here and have Liverpool tinted glasses on all the time, Klopp went mad over the yellow when it was a nailed on red tbh

I don't think VAR was in play the other night. Though I could be wrong .
