I have never understood leaving your best player to take last one.

It's a tricky one.

A lot of shoot-outs come down to the 5th kicks for each side. We would have had Gerrard take the 5th in Istanbul for example, but he wasn't needed.

Honestly not sure.....we could speculate that, having had one saved during the game (yes, he scored the rebound) that he said to staff/Rafa he wasn't up for one during the discussion that takes place after the second half of extra-time?

I think for lfc the right player won that tournament I feel mane needed a confidence boost and will come back on a high, mo’s mentality is so driven I think losing and mane getting man of the tournament he will be like a cyborg for the rest of the season ,
