Your team v Arsenal (League Cup 2nd leg)

Obviously hope for the best, but assuming an injury to Ox -

    ......................Alisson

    Trent.......Matip.....Van Dijk....Robertson

    ........................Fabinho

    ..............Henderson.......Jones

    ...Gordon.........Firmino.......Jota

Sounded like Robertson wasn't great (?) so no objections to Tsimikas.

we can afford to rotate a bit agaunst cardiff but the next 2 are must wins and cant afford hendo or fab to get burnt out unless thiago. is close. sounds like origi is close too and palace are missing zaha i presume. preferably get job done on thurs in 90mins, i'd bring konate, kostas and gordon in. hopefully jones is building fitness towards more dynamic presence as he seems to be a little introverted at times.

Same as you We really lacked the constant threat of runs in behind in the first leg, Oxlade made a huge difference in that respect today, scoring in the process, and Gordon even in his short cameo took up more brilliant positions looking to be played in than all our forwards who started combined, maybe instead of playing rondos in our light training session before this game we should work on Trent, Bobby and Hendo connecting his runs

Over to FSG to get the lad Tchouameni in asap, needs doing, him now, Bellingham in the summer, the midfield needs a rebuild, we're flogging a dead horse with that showboater Thiago, he has been a poor signing and not remotely the type of midfielder we needed

Wonder how strong a team the Arse will put out tonight, after their game with Spurs was cancelled because of COVID and injuries?

A strong team, o can't see no one missing because covid19. I think Tottenham was right on the "noise" made about the postponed game last Sunday. I think there's no doubt they could fill a squad for that game
