    The Weekend’s Other Matches 21-23/01/22

Massive goal scored by young American Josh Sargent with a great piece of improvisation.

    Watford 0-1 Norwich
    55 gone

Norwich out of the bottom 3 as it stands

I know Everton have games in hand and that Norwich haven't sealed the result yet, but imagine being only 3 points clear of Norwich!

Historically I used to like the idea of Everton and ourselves doing well as I felt it would be good for the footballing area, but of late I'd absolutely love them to be relegated.

A shame really that Norwich, Watford, Burnley and Newcastle are as bad as they are, as Everton are almost certainly safe despite an absolutely abysmal run. At least Newcastle are (probably) going down.

Sargent again this time with a towering header after a lengthy floodlight delay.

    Watford 0-2 Norwich

Not looking good at all for Watford

Bad to worse, Emmanuel Dennis Watford’s star man gets a second yellow leaving his team mates down to 10.
    He’ll also now be suspended.

    Still 0-2

I think 3 or 4 people made pretty much the same Party/Partey joke last night
