    International Football Bollix Jan/Feb 2022

    Why?
What games are there going to be, other than AFCON which has already started, and South American World Cup qualifiers?
International football in the (supposed) middle of a pandemic. Yes, good idea.
There's too much confusion, I can't get no relief

Theres probably an international break in early March. would explain why we have to play Saturday at 1230.. all the way on the south coast against Brighton

The Newcastle United squad will be in attendance at the King Abdullah Sport City Stadium to watch tonight’s World Cup Qualifier between Saudi Arabia and Oman 🏟 Flag of Saudi Arabia Flag of Oman #NUFC

    All totally normal team-building stuff.

We play Inter on the Tuesday before Brighton so Klopp not kick off at that its only when we play on a wednesday he had a run in with Des Kelly on BT.

    H/T
    Ecuador 0-1 Brazil
    Cassimero 6mins

Dominguez (Ecuador) straight red on 15 mins.
Emerson Royal (Spurs & Brazil) second yellow on 20.

Both teams down to 10 men.

Alisson who started in goal for Brazil, initially red carded for a “solid” challenge, downgraded to a yellow by VAR.

Phil Coutinho started but lasted only 32 minutes before being replaced by Dani Alves.

Mainly due to the ridiculous amount of VAR nonsense, 10 minutes injury time was added to the end of the first half.

5 yellow cards and 1 red for Brazil in the first half.
Just the 1 red for Ecuador.

You are correct 3-2 I know this as I was away and watched it in a pub.

I think the worst of the lot was a Friday night they had Southampton v Newcastle !
