One of my all time faves - I wish I could find the footage - was Carragher trolling Neville in the studio.. I can't remember the exact line sadly as it was perfectly executed. He said something like "we will hopefully be able to finish above United"

Neville made some kind of polite comments like "well I do think its possible even though Rashford is coming into form"

Carragher said "no, I mean Sheffield United"

Allan Saint-Maximin is nowhere near talked about than that useless plank that's gone on Loan to barca...

yet he's unreal at times, newcastle v lucky they've been took over otherwise they'd lose him.

    Still only 24

12 goals in 79 appearances I think it is for Newcastle.

If he could find a bit more consistency and get those numbers up he'd be really something - he's certainly a joy to watch.

He's just one of those players where there appears to be a brain and foot disconnect, he (and by association defenders) doesnt know what he's going to do next.

Along the lines of Asprilla, Lua Lua and Ameobi (there's a theme here...).

I would have him here in a heartbeat. But, since we've just got Diaz in he'd be kicking around as 5th choice. It would be a waste of his talents tbh.

5 goals and 3 assists for the season versus Mane's 8 goals & 1 assist in the pl so far.

He leads Traore for most dribbles per game 4.6 v 4.2.
Salah our best, 10th in the league for dribbles with 1.9 per game.

    Whoscoreds Tots so far

    Ramsdale
    Trent Matip T.Silva Cancello
    Salah B.Silva Gallagher Mane
    A.S-Maxim Jota

He'd probably do better here than at newcastle though, you'd imagine ?? have more chances etc?

Not comparing players, I just think he's not mentioned as much as others at all, I.E Traore @ wolves.. even Sarr at watford seems to be mentioned more, previously

Wonder how many city will put past brentford tonight, they've been awful lately.

He's stuck in Newcastle till 2026 and with toons owners unlikely to leave. So can't see him being in the rumour mill, even if they go down.

    Hopefully a big fat 0

I think i'm more likely to win the Lottery than city not to score against Brentford.

Has the feel of a cricket score for city or a Brentford awin 2-1

Norwich gleefully sucking Everton into that battle. They’re in huge trouble. If they lose at weekend I’m backing them to go down.
