Good lad, we'll bum them if we play them anyway, would have bummed them at Anfield but for Fab's lapses at No6 and then failure to redeem himself at 2-2 when he needlessly tried to take a touch with an open goal at his mercy instead of just putting his laces through it

Imagine turning a thread talking about Trent (and a most recent rbainfart of his), into an(other) opportunity to give stick to Fabby, and have a pop at him for some game that was eons ago.
(incidentally, the game-winner scorer and a MOTM candidate for our most recent game, and one of the best if not consistent performers in our most recent matches played).

That's some amazing super-power you have there, Nineteen.

He is dead right, sitting at Europe's top table because they bought a ticket, not earned, no history, financial doping, all round cuntish behaviour.
Fuk em from a height. Hope them or PSG never win it, ever.

That would be absolutely brilliant - though, given their relevant resources, it's honestly probably more likely that one (or both) of them manage to win it before 2032, which is a bit pants.

Feels so strange that Chelsea have won it twice for example. The first one was quite a sickener, though the second one prevented Man City from winning it so doesn't annoy me in anything like the same way.

Watched a documentary about Barcelona's spell from 1996-2006 which of course ended with their Champion's League win against Arsenal - it's a little surreal looking back at what Arsenal had back then compared to now.

Why does the likes of Chelsea winning a cl annoy you? Don’t understand this viewpoint. This not earned bullshit about clubs with new financial clout. It’s just complete nonsense.
Every team in every sport that has success it’s pretty much down to money. You either decide to compete with them or you don’t. United have spent just as much as city over the last 5 years. Why aren’t they winning stuff?

They broke the rules of the game and the CAS overturned the ban handed to them.

The CAS likes to see cheaters become winners, as they don't believe cheating should be punished too harshly.

In drug doping cases the benefits of taking drugs persist longer than the ban. The cas ensures such drug takers aren't excluded from competing for honours. They like to think competitors who've cheated can win big.
So what if an athlete is running faster in his 30s after taking drugs that have led to the production of these times.
Any good teen athlete should be taking drugs to win after a short term ban.

In cities case they broke the rules around finances. The benefit of which will outlast any ban from competition, the ban from competition of course was overturned by Cas so cheaters can win honours.
City effectively dodged a European ban which would have had an impact on their finances. To become compliant they likely would have had to sell players, which would have corrected somewhat their cheating.
But the cas really like the idea of cheats winning major honours.

Uniteds spending power is down to their legacy of success.

City/Chelsea/Psg/Leipzig are generally despised within their own nations leagues as playthings of affluent folk more than they are real clubs.
