Too many games - and especially too many from such a young age. The lad has had no chance to develop. To develop properly, you need rest periods. You can’t be an ever present, year in year out. At some point your body and mind will break down.

Think we are seeing this. None of this is his fault either. Klopp has overused him. A victim of his own ability and our lack of ambition to bring in a genuine alternative. That - or a build a quality midfield that isn’t just facilitating 2 FB’s.

Dont think he'll get many minutes. Trippier will be first choice.

I was hoping he'd get some much needed rest.. I guess it's good for him confidence wise. He is there just in case Engerland go out early and the media start having a pop at the Waistcoat for leaving the most talented right back at home.

He gets plenty of rest playing for the Liverpool first team.

    You’re not wrong.

But mentally I think it’s been a huge pressure for him. No back up and he has been there the whole time since coming in at a very young age. Then all the massive hype… always was gonna have a crash.

Bet he’s a different animal in the new year.

There was back up we just over played him

Yes - that’s true. Klopp doesn’t trust the squad enough imo.

Look at Tsimi when Robbo was out. Klopp would nearly always sub him for Milner. Rarely takes Robbo off even when we are cruising games
