Fab doing midfield job himself. Thiago might aswell have stayed I the changing room. Ditto for Elliott.

Decent first half, need more precision in the final third. They've done well and posing a particular threat from corners.

10 mins of this to start the second half please Jurgen

    .....Fab Thiago
    ...................Elliot
    .........Mane
    Salah
    .....................Jota

Proper European game very even and the ref being very good/fair.

I think Hendo comes on for Harvey after 60 mins.

Poor half for me, poor intensity, poor tempo, nothing from our forwards, Mane has been particularly poor, and nothing from midfield passing wise, Fab has been very good, mostly in the right position, did let their lad run away from him too easily having taken responsibility for engaging him for their best chance though, nothing from Thiago or Elliott, Thiago well off the press a few times, spare man they can pass to easily, he's looking right at and not arsing to get in a good position on him too many times, just sheer laziness

Over to Jurgen as ever to sort that crap out at HT and make sure we're A LOT better second half, administer the bumming, get the win and an absolutely vital first leg lead to take back to Anfield, I'd expect to see Hendo for Elliott and Diaz for Mane around the hour mark if things don't improve, having our LFWD play as LFWD as Mane used to would help stretch their defence

Come too early for Elliott this game, surprised he started to be fair.
Fabinho has been the best player on the pitch. Not much else to report, half chances all round, Salah is still at the AFCON, no shots on target from either side.

Agree with this , I weirdly think oxlade would do ok in This game if he came on , and I don’t say that very often
