Only reason I don't want utd in the champions league if ronaldo is on it, both legs anything could happen.

Especially if pogba and fernandes is too.

Am I missing something?? Pogba is booked for standing on Kane’s Achilles but has to leave the field because he had treatment. Thought that rule had changed if the player committing the foul was booked??

    Maybe I dreamt it

Same here mate. I really don’t want to meet them in the CL, although everyone says we’ll batter them. Not sure my heart could take it.

Think you're right, the rules change a lot though.

They're still rather average in overall terms mind.

Anything can happen in Cup football but we'll see - Ronaldo might have used up his goals before Atletico the silly boy! They need to get past Simeone's lot first before any possibility of meeting us.

Come on Kev, he scored all those goals today because Spurs' defending was absolutely abysmal for all 3 of them

I'd love to get them in the final and put 6 past them

On a serious note, as dreamy as that would be, anything can happen in a 90-minute match. Over two legs though, the better side has more chance of winning - if we did have to face them, I think quarter-final or semi-final is more ideal realistically. 180 minutes (probably closer to 190) against their back line would yield more chances than 90 minutes would.

Saying that, if ourselves and Man United reached the Final, it would mean we weren't having to play Man City - I'd hate to be on the losing side of the Sportswasher's first Champion's League win.

I just wanna see them capitulate, knowing they have f-all chance of getting back into the game when their 4 down with half an hour to go. and then we add 2 more to finally make them feel like garbage

Spurs were unnecessarily really open and stretched for that entire game, really easy to play through, unorganised in their line

First goal, Dier stood well off, not Virgil v Inter, well well off and gave Ronaldo a free hit while unsighting the keeper

Second goal, terrible attempt to play offside really bad error

Third goal absolutely shambolic defending of a set piece

And in balance, Spurs could have scored about 10 goals easily, slipped, took the wrong option, got the final ball wrong loads of times, the one where Kane was way offside and went for it when had he left it alone Kulusevski or Docherty had a tap in
