As good as Barca were, which is a million miles better than what's been served up by previous managers. Real were bloody awful and their defence made Man utds look good.

The financial plate-spinning that Barcelona have been having to conduct to register players and pay these big fees/wages has been an interesting watch.

Their Champion's League group is really intriguing. They're sitting on 4 points, with Inter sat on 7 - Bayern are on 12.

Barcelona's next game is against Bayern. If Bayern go on to win that match and Inter can beat Viktoria Plzeň at the San Siro (it would be "typical Inter" to choke that match in fairness) then Barca would be looking at Europa League football.

They'll have definitely been hoping for (and possibly relying upon) the money affiliated with the Champion's League knockout stages. It would be quite the spectacle if they missed out.

Wonder if they'd be forced into any sales?
