    I do hope the bitters go down and never come back, they say they are a big club, but they are no bigger than Sunderland.

    I remember reading some article at the end of last season by some statistician, who had been doing some work on football, and the gist of the article was that for the last couple of years Everton have been on the exact same trajectory (on and off the field) as Sunderland were a few years ago.

    Here's hoping.....

    Everton have been dangling over the trap door for a few seasons.. with Berk (trap door) Bill Kenwright they are gonna go down this time

    The acid rain effect of what's going on in the wider game is definitely eroding my love of it.

    Still. Glutton for punishment so I think I'll be following it for a few more years yet.
