It’s been an incredible run. Fantastic effort from Jurgen and the boys.

We're not a tappy crappy team, even City aren't now, they looked to emulate us and mix it up and be direct rather than be predictable tappy crappy everything in front of the opposition all the time, we spent 70 minutes of that game playing everything in front of Spurs, with no runs in behind, no variation, letting them get comfortable in a pattern of defending, gaining more and more confidence with each next tappy crappy attack comfortably repelled - Did it v Chelsea's 10 men, v City twice, v Spurs twice, it's like our coaches are desperately trying to prove some pathetic point in these game at what a brilliant footballing side we've evolved into, then we fall flat on our face, because we're not one

I think my concern is that some managers set traps and Klopp falls for them. You can bet your life Ancelotti will be plotting.
The way I see it is if we turn up on our game we win. Our best vs their best and we still win. We're a better side.

Spurs came to park the bus today. They did that well.

City in the league play a similar game to us and the good thing is we didn't lose to them as we could have easily done.

Chelsea, beat them on penalties in the cup, and again could have easily lost our game against them, but kept it together.

Not a worry at all for me. Finals are a different kettle of fish for these boys, lets hope it doesn't get in the head of some resulting in a poor attempt at getting more silverware
Talking about the 6 league games really. The FA cup semi final was a great win but shitty were well below full strength if we are honest.

What do you suggest other than that tonight?
It's not tappy crappy, it's trying to work an opening against a low block. It's very hard to do for any side let alone one that's played as many games as us.
If we are on top form tonight they are dispatched. Tiredness has been the crux of that performance.

As were we in our league game against them at the Etihad.

That was a game that THEY should have won and won easily.

To be fair, Spurs went to the Etihad and did a complete number on them, so we can hardly blame tonight for not winning the league.
The problem is that the sportswahers have assembled such a squad and such a high bar, Fergie’s peak Utd wouldn’t have won half the titles they did, had City been around in their current guise at that time.

    Indeed.

Folks should remember that the 08/09 Man United side that bested Rafa's best Liverpool team and had Ronaldo (42 goals in a season) "only" managed 90 points - one of their best seasons - we are likely getting 90 points in 3/4 seasons - their 98/99 side only got 78 - we're bloody brilliant.

Remember too everyone that squads and projects are ever-evolving.

It's a process, it's a process, it's a process. Doing bloody well with it as it happens.
