Going Forward - Robbo or Tsimikas?

Robbo is the better player but should be rested quicker when the signs are that he’s not in form. He had a great period after his last dropping. Had a few poor games now especially going forward. Give tsimi more minutes when these signs are there.

Got good options to step in along the backline, and elsewhere, with Gomez Konate and Tsimi.

Think Trent has struggled for form far moreso than Robbo myself.
Tsimi did well enough last night but not as robust defensively as Robbo.

I think it's a case of getting the balance and dynamics right for Trent and Thiago, the latter has been trying too hard to dominate everything with the ball and force it, that means less opportunities for Trent, Virgil, Hendo and others to make the play or look to release players, I've always viewed our having so many players who can create from so many different positions as one of our most incredible strengths, hence why I made the 'Designated playmaker' thread, because we absolutely and categorically do not need one, we have several, and trying to have one player dominate making the play doesn't make us stronger, it weakens us
