As excited as I am about the possibility of Man City botching things, I'll assess at the end of the game.

They could still win the match, they could still nick a draw or they could lose but by only a 1-goal margin.

If West Ham were to win 4-0 or something here, leaving Man City on +68....then the (excited) nerves would kick in. But even at that we would need to send out a side capable of a big score against Southampton, with no guarantees of getting said score and increased risk of having players injured for the final day or the Champion's League final.

Let's pray to Fowler and see what the next 45 minutes might bring.

Absolutely but that's the beauty of it isn't it? Would be great to get a bit of luck here. Any kind of win for West ham gives us a chance. Ideally a few goals.
