Given Riley apologised for the VAR 'mistake of missing the Rodri handball' and given the video evidence and numerous angles available to Kavanagh, it simply isn't possible he missed the Rodri handball, or that he made an error of some kind, it is quite clear that contrary to the laws of the games and current interpretations, he deliberately did not give Tierney the correct advice, just as he failed to in 2 crucial incidents at TTHS I hope that whatever happens on Sunday we make a very strong case against the Referees association as it needs some incredibly strong and high profile action to cause a tsunami rather than ripples and put a stop to the referees association corruption once and for all
The margins are simply too tight and they're going to remain this tight for the next 4 or more years at least, too tight for us to let corruption or deliberate or institutional bias gift our closest rivals and challengers even 2 points as they did in the Everton game. Of clear and obvious errors, not the debatable decisions, coming togethers, VAR not being able to adjudge a clear and obvious error etc, I'd say CIty definitely have 4 additional points from thier games v Wolves and the Bitters, we have -2 from our game v Spurs at TTHS, we can't afford to let them hand them a 6 points swing next season or in any other
We have to try and make sure we put a stop to it
