    Always though Roger Hunt was our record goal scorer, but that's just in league games. Loved watching Rush, Barnes, Beardsley, Aldridge, Dalglish in my early days as a fan.

    Could defend from the front like nobody else, had a scoring instinct you could only dream of and a coolness in front of goal you cannot coach.

    Only player I could passing his goal tally, if he had stayed, was Luis Suarez. As an all round striker, goal poacher and chance creator, he's the best we've had in recent times. Not forgetting about his set piece ability either.
