He went up for his medal so maybe its not that bad? He's got 2 weeks to recover.

How often does a half fit player work out in big games? Ronaldo in 98, Rooney, Beckham? Kane in 18?
If he's not fit he shouldn't play imo.
I heard hip flexor and groin mentioned. If so he is done, hopefully BS.
if that's true I think we should give firmino game time v southampton
I think i'd rather start him over Jota if possible for his link-up play at the moment, jota has gone a bit downhill form wise.. seems quite a few players have but we're still winning.

we are liverpool football club, not fucking norwich.
Hope Mo isn't out, if it is the injury referenced, I think he's definitely out for our three remaining games, Jota's lost his place so it's good opportunity for him to try and develop to play on the right, because he's third choice on the left and second choice at No9 before any signings
The player who has unexpectedly played the best for us when stepping in for Mo in the past is actually Oxlade, if Mo's not fit I'd have Oxlade at RFWD, he's got the job done, offered the movement and runs in behind we miss so much when anyone else comes in for Mo and scored goals. might be an opportunity for him to sign off in style

Absolutely zero chance the Ox starts the European Cup final at RWF!
Probably not, but he is actually our player who has performed best and delivered consistently at LFWD in Mane's absence 19-20 and 20-21 and at RFWD in Mo's absence 19-20 and 20-21 and this season during Afcon
He might not be what we need in midfield or even in the pecking order there anymore and seems destined to leave this summer, but he always delivered when covering at LFWD and RFWD far better than any other of our players pre our signing Diaz

Baggio in '94.
Still wish we could have seen that game contested with him fit and also with the conditions being less ridiculous - the Rose Bowl was insanely hot that day and as much as Sacchi's tactics were a factor in a pretty insipid match, the heat was the real killer.
