    Rúben Amorim welcome!

Instead of talking about him in every thread, let's make a topic for him.

might be a bit early days.. but welcome to LFC!!!!!

Yes i'll look a fool if i'm wrong but pretty sure this is nailed on, unlike Alonso ever was.. despite fans getting ahead of themselves

what a huge job he has, wonder if there will be any starting 11 team changes over the summer.

Wonder if he'll go for any players from sporting?
    Gonçalo Inácio
    Ousmane Diomande

Both good young cb's ok the portugal league ain't the best, but still a big reason why they're doing so well.

Had posted this in the Shortlist Thread..

Interesting watch considering he is likely to be the man stepping into Klopp's shoes... At least according to the rumours..

20 years ago we were looking for a new manager and were rumoured to be in for a highly rated Portuguese manager until we 'lost out' to Chelsea and ended up with Rafa. I remember reading an article at the time that said we had got the better man.

Not really arsed about his credentials at this stage but whether he can be a Scouser like Klopp.

Amorim is odds-on with the bookies but interestingly Bielsa and Ancellotti are now 2nd & 3rd favourites, de Zerbi in 4th place. Alonso has drifted from 14/1 to 33/1 in the last week or so.

Nothing is decided 100% yet. He is simply very heavily linked by rumour. Any deal that has supposedly been agreed is only in principle - so plenty can still happen. Personally I have still not given up all hope for Xabi, despite most reports suggesting that is a closed book.

Warning ppl not to make the Souness & Evan’s dynasty destroying mistakes again is like warning Labour wankers not to elect Starmer & then telling them they need a new party backed by the unions after they’ve elected him & then ignoring that too

We have an excellent squad for 433 4231 442 with many new faces that there is so much still to come from I genuinely think going to a back 3 with the players we have is an absolutely shit idea

Needs a new Mane/Salah talismanic prolific scorer & creator of chances forward who is a persistent threat throughout games & we’re good

Unless it's got a title winning midfield with Fabinho in it.
