    Squad Rebuild

Ok, what does Slotty baby need in the summer?

Thought if I posted this now, it would be ready after another end of season debacle, for people to vent their ire.

Unfortunately, despite the money spent on Diaz, Nunez and the whole midfield, we desperately lack a spine.

Dominant CB (Virgil hasn’t long left)
Athletic no6 who can get about the pitch and win the ball back. We were bullied all over the pitch in the derby

And a no9, Watkins/Toney level, not effin Nunez, who just doesn’t seem to be developing at all. He doesn’t even cause chaos any more.

If as seems likely Salah goes, we will obviously need a RWF too but stop looking for a direct Salah replacement, he doesn’t exist.

I don’t think major surgery is needed.

For the 1st 11. A decent centre back, striker who can put the ball in the back of the net and a replacement for Salah would be a decent window for me.

We’ve got a good set of lads coming through and hopefully we won’t suffer with the injuries that we have under Klopp.

    A six. A Centre back. A striker.
That lad from Fulham would be good as the six.

Couldn't argue with strengthening anywhere on the pitch really.

Presumably it's goodbye to Thiago, Matip, Adrian and we'll have elbow room for signing a few non-homegrown players.

Who knows the future for 32/33 year old van Dijk and Salah. I'd like to think van Dijk will hang around for the transition.

Wonder what Slot will make of Danns, Koumas, McConnell, Clark...
...or 'new signings' Carvalho, Bajcetic, Tyler Morton, Calvin Ramsay?
or old boys like Nat Phillips and Rhys Williams?

How patient will he be with the part-time crocks, like Konate and Jota?

Will he rotate goalkeepers like de Zerbi does at Brighton? (Stats say Kelleher is the better keeper but that's stats for you)

    Exciting times.

I think Newcastle needs to sell in order to buy so Isak could well move. I think they paid 55m for him,I could easily see 70m or more being paid for him.
Be plenty lining up for him too.

His salary goes down 20% next year we need to use that to our advantage. Mo, thiago, adrian, matip is 700k per week in wages id gladly give him 250k pw if he can put it in the net
