Now Salah has signed a new contract, that confirms we’re definitely not signing anyone else in this window. FSG will assume we’ll be happy with the signings. The amount of prize money we’ve won, bleeding tightwad’s.

Looks that way, no big money signing anyway (unless we sell someone first!)

It's not a small outlay for Salah if the £350,000-per-week is to be believed.

That's around £18.2m per season, so £54.6m spent keeping him for 3 seasons - and it will be more than that as he will be meeting goal/assist/appearance targets for personal bonuses, plus we will likely reach Finals as well.

Factor in that we could be extending Keita's contract, Gomez's contract and the agent fees that go with the renegotiation of these things - all adds up and we won't want wages to become too big of a percentage of turnover either.

In overall terms though, look at the squad we have. That is an excellent collection of players we have and plenty of them have a lot of time on their side. Midfield is the obvious area for the next bit of planning but if you look at what we have done with purchases like Konate, Tsimikas and Ramsey in defence or Jota, Diaz, Núñez and Carvalho in attack you can be sure we'll find more talents on the verge of breaking through and fitting a sensible wage profile.

    We know what we're doing.

#LFC this morning have an agreement in place with #Dortmund to sign Jude Bellingham. It’s only a matter of steps on the players side.

    Some guy on twitter

Them rumoiurs still going round..... thought they'd die with Dortmund losing Haaland

Chances of Bellingham being talked about / used by Liverpool Echo for clickbait to the point of absolute exhaustion, only for us to sign someone else seems high

Thankfully there are always more players coming through.

I am convinced Bellingham is coming to Anfield, whether this summer or next. Most likely the latter.
He wants to be Steven Gerrard, his boyhood hero.

Would be absolutely brilliant. It's not that I'm resigned to the idea of him not coming - plenty of encouraging signs are there with him and his Dad apparently really cares about his development moreso than jumping to Real Madrid immediately or whatever, just accepting of the fact that the World is full of talents and that we should never get too caught up in any idea of a solitary player being make-or-break, especially when we consider the group morale we have built under Jürgen.

Jurgen gets very caught up in the idea of a solitary player and is prepared to wait for the right one rather than making do with who is immediately available. I think Bellingham has already decided he’s coming next summer.

With Salah signed up now, would you say Bellingham is the best player to add right now if possible?
