let him go then
Cleaning up the Scots since the 13th century
Quite!
If anyone doesn't want to come to us, I'd far rather move on than try to "convince" them - Man United's recent improvement in results are masking what was an absolutely embarrassing situation with De Jong - my skin would be absolutely crawling if we were practically begging a player to come here. Fans can be seen to grovel a bit, but not the club itself.
We're still an incredibly attractive proposition and if a potential target can't see past us having a bit of a transitional spell that's their loss - we have a lot of lads aged 19-28 and that number should only go up if we maintain our overall transfer policy. We're hardly replacing an entire starting XI of 33-year-olds.
Who is the closest thing to Thiago at the age of 21-26 who has a decent injury record?
Can we have 2 of them in the Summer please?![]()
Neither will come cheap - who are we willing to lose to fund it?
We could trade in Ninexteens expertise. that should get us 8,and half p in old money
Cleaning up the Scots since the 13th century
With Ox, Naby and Milner all departing in the summer you would think that we wont have to sell anyone to bring some real quality. With these 3 off the books it should free up £400k(ish) in wages.
If nothing is done in he summer then serious questions will definitely need to be asked. As we'll be both short of quality and numbers in the middle.
Something, Something, Something, Dark Side
Yea. Those "numbers" are so key..
For the record - we are well short of quality now..
