Good job Newcastle and the filthy are both going to fuck up then

I find this approach from players very short sighted to be honest, if you're looking at the Premier League, if you look at recent competitiveness in the Premier League and Champions League and know the game, it's pretty clear that 2 or 3 sides have benefitted from a couple of others being in transition this season

I mean imagine if one of Newcastle or the filthy actually hang on to make top four this season, and you signed for them on that basis, or even Arsenal for that matter, it is most likely that Liverpool and Chelsea will make up 2 of the top four places next season and for several more, so 2 of those teams are only liekly to be in it next season IF they make it into it at all and none of them are likely to progress very far in it, whereas Klopp's made the final 3 times in the last five seasons
    So does Klopp i believe

Just right as well - I'll be paraphrasing here but Klopp once said something to the effect of wanting "players who are happy to push the Train, not just jump on when it is moving" - if players don't want to come here despite us having wonderful fans, a wonderful Stadium, a Squad that is shaping up really nicely and a lack of plasticity about us then they can jog on - we'll find someone else.

I've found loads of links from the press of players nation and the press of the nation of the club they currently play for, which to me is more reliable

It does have to be said that the media try and play fantasy football and make deals happen, that affects the reliability of their stories, lots of sources want targets we've been linked to at the filthy, lots want Rice and Mount at Anfield, so they create and continue to push the links they favour while rubbishing others, it's how they do

Now that Trent seems to be one of the midfield answers we're in need of a right back. Any chance of getting Cancelo from City ?

STOP! If FSG hear you talking like that, we ain't signing any mids this summer.

I wouldn't be surprised if they have lurkers on these forums looking to see what they can get away with.

Expect Cancelo to end up at the Arse

Well we don’t need to buy any midfielders this summer, Trent Fabinho-Jones is not a public school educated Polo player, it’s our midfield for the next 5 years.

Think we likely end up with 2 of Mount, Gravenberch, Ugarte and Mac Allister - which is I could foresee being regarded as decent business a year from now.

2 10's Mac Allister and Veiga 1 Top all rounder Gravenberch 1 top DM who can also operate as a No8 Ugarte

That's what we need for midfield
