Doubt we’ll bring in a sixth when the midfield is now the priority.

You are probably correct and most on the forum know we need the Midfield bolstering but is this the clubs plan ? this season

Nope, just responding to the comments about us needing another forward recruit, I don’t think we do til Mo leaves

Still a bit gutted about Tchouameni, he was the real deal for No6 or either No8 role on either side, a player like that isn't going to come around very often, still think if we'd gone hard after him while Real were still putting all their eggs in the Mbappe basket it could have worked out, I miss Edwards already

Just buy forwards till we find one whose suited to play an attacking midfielder role.

Hmmmm… playmaker you say??
0 goals and just 2 assists from 39 appearances across Serie A and the Champions League would suggest “ playmaker” is stretching it a tad.

Also if we lose another forward we will definitely need to bring another one in.
