I disagree. Lose Salah and there's no top four for us.
Nigh on impossible to replace that quality in January unless you get damn lucky.

If this is the beginning of comments being made via the medium of freestyle rap during transfer windows then I am here for it.

100% agree, but the bottom line taking the RED glasses off some fans,He ain't worth 150mill even in today's market so when the 200mill offer comes in we should bite their hands off. These offers could well Not be there next summer.

How much is Champions League football worth?

Yes there is the money obviously but in terms of prestige, staying 'relevant', attracting top top players etc

The only way I would even entertain letting Salah go this season would be....

    - Ł200m or more
    - January window (not this 2-week period ahead where the transfer window is still open for the League in Saudi Arabia)
    - Us being extremely comfortably within the Champion's League spots in January with a gap of 12-15 points ahead of the side in 5th

....and even with all that it wouldn't be something I'd automatically say "yes" to - just that the above criteria would make it worth thinking about to some degree.

It would be unwise to miss out on Champion's League football two seasons (or more) in a row - another side could get into those spots and effectively lock us out, which is what we should really be doing to other sides rather than the other way around.

Once Newcastle for example budge in (with a better Manager than Howe) they could be as permanent a feature as Man City, who look like they could spend 20 years in the Champion's League places at this rate.

I don't get why people would have it come down to money.
We all know where that money would go. It would not be for the benefit of the team, only for the financial benefit of those who give less of a fuck.
He's worth keeping but even more so to deny FSG making a killing on him.
