That sort of win (dying embers of a game) build confidence though to be fair, so whilst Arsenal may not have been "all that" yesterday (I can't comment as I didn't watch) they will carry positive momentum into training etc.
I still think we are "better" than Arsenal, but we are probably more dependent on keeping lads fit than they are just now and we all know how that can go.
Still. If we aim for 1st/2nd and finish 3rd/4th it's something to build on for our newer recruits - get them bedded into the idea that Champion's League qualification is part of the job and a minimum requirement.
If we get 200m for salah and he's OK to leave I think its fine, as long as klopp gets 250-300m to spent over the next 1-2 windows.
We need refreshment all over the back line ( both fullbacks have never had a genuine challenge for their position) , another cm, and I think it would be wise to buy a few talented youths.
Personally I think we can get at least 4th even without salah. We aren't winning the league even with him considering our other deficiencies.
215mil look real now, Henry couldn't sleep now
£215m is going to be hard for FSG to turn down but I still think (hope) he’ll stay this season and leave next summer.
We can't sell him now because we don't have a replacement and are now unable to buy one. tell them they can pay now to sign him in January or next summer
That's it
I also find the timing of their approach extremely questionable given the Saudi and middle east connections of some other Prem clubs, wait until it is too late for us to get a replacement and THEN try and sign a player integral to our team?
