What's going on with Trent? Is the delay signing a new deal just his agent trying to leverage more money, or is he waiting to see what Slot is like, how he wants to play and how that will affect his game. That is quite natural of course. Some pundits seem to think Trent will benefit massively from Slots style of play, sitting as one of a double pivot in a 4 2 3 1 or as his current role in a 4 3 3.
Unfortunately Madrid are seeing him as natural replacement for Kroos or Modric.
What would Trent's market value be..isn't he still just 25? 150 million?

I would be really disappointed if he did that. Hopefully he signs a new deal.
It's going to be interesting to see what happens with Salah,Virgil and Trent's contracts. They must be top of the list for Edwards/ Slot.
