Fabrizio Romano has reiterated the reports that Liverpool haven't lodged a bid for Ederson.
But there is interest in the Atalanta midfielder.
“We heard today reports of a bid from Liverpool for Ederson. What I’m hearing is that Atalanta at the moment haven’t received an official bid for Ederson yet,” he said on his YouTube channel.
“They know there is interest in Ederson but they have not received any official proposal and they want to keep Ederson at the club.”

The Daily Mail's Lewis Steele has provided more clarity, thanks Lewis.
He says that reports suggesting Liverpool are close to signing Ederson are "wide of the mark".
Further to that, no bids have been and he isn't a player top of the shortlist at the moment but "could change".
Again, it was fun while it lasted. At least the transfer window opens in a couple of days, right?

The Athletic's James Pearce has reported that Liverpool are not close to agreeing a deal for Atalanta's Ederson.
It was reported earlier that the Reds were on the verge of agreeing a £38m move to the Brazilian midfielder.
However, the claim have been rubbished.
