    I think Klopp honestly just rated him, truly.

    Which is understandable - he's a good player. I think if he was in a double-pivot with a more compact back four he'd look better, due to style/set-up nuances.

    In much the same way that (different positions, I know) someone like John Terry probably would have looked rubbish in a Guardiola or set-up but is incredibly suited to a Mourinho set-up. I think a bit of compactness around him or other hard-working mids (like when Wijnaldum and Henderson were at their best) nearby would totally lift our perception of him up another notch.
