No idea if they are a reputable source
on the BBC football gossip column is this
Liverpool boss Arne Slot has made it compulsory for his players to have breakfast together at the club's training ground. (Times - subscription required)
Says everything about our transfer activity don't it
Cleaning up the Scots since the 13th century
Unfortunately last season, although we did do our due diligence on a player, who we believed ticked every box we almost ended up spending £115M on Caicedo and yet he turns out to be an absolute pup @ Chelsea, that’s it’s a bit worrying for me. Especially as we did exactly the same with Keita, and we all know how that shit show turned out. Given the jury is still out on Nunez, it could be argued we are just not very good at spending big and getting it right…
Tbf the counter argument that we spent big money on Big Virg and Alison, is a fair comment but dont forget both of these transfers were 100% financed by the Coutinho deal, so although we did spend big, we did it with Barcelona’s money rather than any of our own hard earned cash.. so it was a bit of a free hit, and boy how well did that work out….
So to a degree I can see why LFC are so reluctant to spend big because
1. I dont think we are very good at it…
2. I dont think we like to be perceived as a club with deep pockets, in a misguided attempt to not get our pants pulled down over Transfer fees, something which like Utd seem let happen every transfer window. Unfortunately I think this value driven Transfer policy can be our undoing in the transfer market, as other teams just think we are just taking the piss all the time…
Hey ho, maybe the next two weeks our new set up will prove me wrong, but I am certainly not holding my breath.. 🤣
3. Our US based owners have other sporting interests that may take priority hence the reason our net spend is considerably lower than most if not all of the top half teams in the league
Bye Joe, and thanks...

I’d keep him unless it’s his wish to leave.
Very versatile player.
Can’t see us getting over £30m for him.
