That would be great news, took their time the bastards, I've been tweeting them suggesting he was their Iniesta replacement for 3 frickin seasons

He's an absolute cracking player (a bit of a grade A c*nt mind!). He would be explosive in our set up. He's the kind of player we need to find from somewhere to bolster the midfield.

There's a lot of conflicting information online at present - not breaking out the Cava by any means.

If he does go - you'd wonder if the players are getting rumblings that Pep isn't going to extend his contract, or if something else is going on behind the scenes. It's not really like Man City to sell key players or to even have their players linked with moves.

Haha, it's surely the only reason this is happening.

Timo was bought for a good price, it didn't work out and they've sold for a loss.
Much like Keita in that regard whose entering his final year of contract.

Jürgen is not so interested in midfielders. He plays a compact game. The midfielders he likes are few and far between. What he has at his disposal must be capable of doing a 'job'. The threat comes from attack and defence players moving about!

Yeremy Pino linked with joining Arsenal, a couple of sources suggesting we too have submitted a bid which I am sceptical of.

So they can use the word “Liverpool” in conjunction with us having been “dealt a blow” in our fictional pursuit of a player we have never been remotely interested in.
