Despite all the media noise around bellingham and Fernandez I too remain very sceptical that we will sign either. It will need to take a massive shift in FSGs transfer model for it to happen

Klopp is keen to add to his options in central midfield during January and he has made Amrabat a 'priority' alongside Bellingham.

Amrabat is contracted with his club side Fiorentina until 2024, but the Foot Mercato report states they are not against selling him in January and have valued the 26-year-old at around £40m.

The midfielder is also reportedly keen on a move to the Premier League, with a transfer to Liverpool his preference.

We're very deep-scouting / data analytics based. Unless we are deviating from policy I would describe Bellingham as being much more likely than Amrabat, despite Amrabat being a much cheaper option - which suits FSG's frugality on paper.

This is speculation on my part, but I'd believe in Klopp thinking "Fabinho isn't 30 yet, we can get a couple more good years after playing him out of this funk" - whereas Thiago (Fernandez?) and Henderson (Bellingham?) have less time on their side in terms of the need to eventually replace them.

Amrabat reports grow slowly.

We have been burnt there previously to e.g. salif, el Hadj, Babb and perhaps big div.
Amrabat showing is from a low defensive line deployed by Morocco.
But I liked his performances.
Can shift between attack and defence.
I like him and apparently he wants to join and klopp has been in contact.
