The money has been falsely inflated by pile barons and countries. Without PSG, Chelsea and City there would not have been nearly so much spent on players transfers and wages in the last 10-15 years.

Agree. The game was en route to being ruined full stop when you look at the trickle down effect this has on lower league clubs. Hartlepool near my hometown is on the brink. They're fucked if they go down and that's looking very likely.
The premier league greed machine has destroyed things but the shitcunt clubs you mention have fast tracked it massively.

Gallagher looked good at Palace but he's been poor for Chelsea this season. Mount is strangely linked with us quite often.

They're going to have plenty they need to move on. The problem in the bigger picture is that anyone buying these cast-offs (tempting as it will be, as they'll have quality players available) is that any purchases made by us or other clubs will only legitimise their methodology.

There would ideally be some behind-closed-doors meeting between some of the clubs who earn their money legitimately to agree not to buy direct from clubs with shady methodology and to only take on players when contracts run out. Very wishful thinking I know.

Outside of our League I wouldn't want to buy from Barcelona for example as it only helps them pay back a bit of their debt. F**k them - they made their bed with their "levers" and I hope they rot. Sadly more likely to attract a Sportwash owner, but I'd love to see some of the game's shysters get their comeuppance.
