Chelsea are a disgrace to world football not just the premier league, 105 million for Fernandes on top of all what they have spent..Surely something has to be done to stop this kinda splurge?

Just to put that into perspective -
The winners of this year's Champion's League will receive - "....€68.34m (£58.99m), but if they also win all six of their group matches, then they will receive a combined total of €85.14m (£73.49m) in prize money, before coefficient shares and market pool funds come into play."

Cleaning up the Scots since the 13th century
One would hope so.
Annoyingly how finances are recorded opens the doors for this type of stuff if long contracts are utilised to aid amortisation.
So with Mudryk for example the value of the player is spread across their contract. So the initial £62million fee is only worth £7.75million-per-year plus wages for him. Which crazily, means that (prior to Fernandez) Chelsea could theoretically have made a "profit" in the window by selling one player (let's say a Homegrown lad for £40m or so) if they get the fee in a lump sum.
This will be why there's legislative stuff coming in about player contract length. Otherwise a club could theoretically buy a £120m player and give out a 10-year deal, meaning it only came up as £12m-per-year on the books. It would make it too easy for certain clubs to just hoover up all the talent in one go and make the occasional sale with a release clause inserted that meant money must be paid up front and the books would look fine.
This is also part of the reason why I personally wouldn't want to buy someone like Mount from Chelsea - I don't want to enable the bastards in any way.
Arsenal sign Jorginho for £12 million.
Probably a clever signing. Experience and quality going into that squad at the right time.
"Barcelona can’t include obligation to buy clause into Sofyan Amrabat deal with Fiorentina due to Financial Fair Play.
Fiorentina are not accepting loan with buy option not mandatory.
Barça are looking for an opportunity, can’t do any €30/40m deal."
That is pretty good for a cm warrior.
So he'll probably end up somewhere else.
He is using innovative tactics to get the players he wants......our lot would never look to do that......Their whole winning strategy was based on FFP being strictly enforced..... but how were any of the enforcers ever going tbe able to fight it out with groups who have more money than countries?
