Pinch of salt as I don't watch Ligue 1 closely.

That said, he's had between 7 and 9 goals (all comps) for the last 5 seasons now, has a relatively good injury record, is hard to dispossess and can assist, but I'd view him more as a "lock-pick" type and he may not have enough in other departments to justify bringing in - wouldn't have him in our first-choice midfield three personally.

If we bought him I don't think he would perform much better than, say, Elliott - who is already here. Personally I think we should prioritise investing in someone who could displace a player from the first-choice three and thus strengthen depth that way.
