It wants me to sign up to read it.

Net spend since 15/16 Rodgers last summer window when Bobby arrived, Jurgen coming later after that fall, to today.... 22/23 the 8th season.

    Manu £856.7 million
    City €755.89
    Arsenal £546.25
    Chelsea £398.15 million
Spurs 399.46 (mostly euros, £31 mill)
    LFC £230.23

Yanks top, 3rd and last for net spend. Significant gaps in between.

The self-righteousness of the person who still advocates Marxism is staggering given the evidence for it.

But the theory of surplus value (profit) was erroneous and has been shown to be such a thousand times over. It’s a theory that only a privileged narcissist, which Marx undoubtedly was, could submit without a responsible degree of self-doubt.
    Such ignorance

I would expect from justme but you…. I am surprised:

You want to equate what Marx said with North Korea? Really? Should People also judge Capitalism with Chile’s Pinochet? We know the murderer was friends with your hero Margaret but nobody can evacuate what has been silenced in the west. What about George Bush? Should we agree that McCarthyism was ok because is was anti Communist? Sickening to think that was so recent.

The fact is when most ignorant people speak against Marx they Cite Stalinism or North Korea (about as anti Marx as it is possible to be) and any number of evil regimes to do so rather than actually confront what he said.

And Venezuela, like Cuba has been utterly destroyed by the US - nobody else. What do you know about Cuba for instance? How it’s has been mercilessly starved by the US? And still is today.

No genuinely socialist state will never be allowed to succeed as long the global economy is dominated by the free market. This is kids stuff and would assume you could join the dots far better.

    We have got some brainwashed dimwits in here alright;

And do these clubs make a profit? Where does it go?

It will all be taken out of the club when every last vestige has been exploited.

This is the point. Nothing will be written off. All profit back across the pond.

You were irate to a degree when Melwood was sold on, and not left as a green field area.
For me your expectations of.fsg are too high.

Though I do also see big investors as business minded persons.

For me we should be investing more on the squad and this summer window overall was a failed one. Less than 10 mill net spend..issues unaddressed

With regards the mancs and everyone else, the net spend shows yanks at the extremes of net spend and third behind city of the top 6 clubs.
    Non-yanks 2nd, 4th & 5th.

The glazers pretty close to quadrupling our net spend of 230.23 million,
856.7 million just 64.22 mill short of a 920.92 mill net spend.

All 3 of the oil clubs are turning a profit, or have in chelseas case turned a tidy profit even allowing for the forced sale.

Maybe JwH will sportswash your mind via LFC

Is it just a Brit thing or am i letting the side down ? My personal opinion is that i don't give a fiddlers fuch who owns which club or why ?

I am only interested in turning to a broadcast/stream and watching whatever 2 teams are playing in whatever league they are playing in and seeing a good game.I am interested of course who we sign or don't sign but at the end of the day it's a GAME.

I don't lose any sleep over who owns ManCity, Chelsea ,Real Madrid,Barca or any other football team and how they run it.

My time is worth far more than to waste on this issue bore by some and i really couldn't give a flying fuch.Wake up guy's !!!!!

The only issue i have is the way Chelsea was stolen from Abramovich and it wouldn't phase me if the people responsible were rightfully brought to justice over it although hopefully not the British justice system as that's so pathetic in every shape and form.

No disrespect mean't against any members who feel the need to waste their God given time on these issues.

That's up to you and you are ultimately perfectly entitled to have that opinion.

But I suspect I'll be checking out somewhat when the Champion's League semi-finalists end up being Real Madrid (propped up by Government), PSG (Oil), Man City (Oil) and whatever other side (Newcastle maybe in time) nearly every year.

I already have pretty much zero interest in the upcoming World Cup for example and know many people who feel the same - that is a pretty damning indictment on where we are when I consider how hyped I was in anticipation of '94 or '98 for example. Maybe some of that is nostalgia - I'm not sure.

It's a competitive sport and we aren't very far away from it no longer being so. Maybe it's 5 years - maybe it will limp on for 30, who knows - but the life blood is definitely leaking out at the moment.

In lighter news, Sevilla took to their official Twitter account last night to have a small troll of Man City, which was good for a chuckle -

"Today's attendance is 38,764, including 774 Man City fans."

I can't believe a side with "record revenues" managed to get a whole 774 lads out there. Impressive stuff.
