A 16k hike on a couple of the higher peaks yesterday meant no time to watch the game or to whack a thread up.

A rare day off sees me adventuring past Isla and Jura with a bit of time before Iona and Staffa.

Hopefully the thread goes up as I am at Sea on a quieter, less eventful bit of the sailing.

Will enjoy highlights of the Spurs game when I can and hope all are well.

Sounds like a day well spent Sid. Sometimes the football can wait …. I missed a City game and a Utd game this season because other things took priority, family days out, memories made.

Anyway, Villa limping towards the finish, I can see us avoiding defeat in this one, maybe even a win, despite our flaky form.

As for the line up, after Elliott’s best game from a starting berth, he needs to start again and I would like to see Quansah start again, losing patience with Biscuits Konate and his performance in the derby was shocking.

Just the one change for me, Quansah’s got a couple of issues with players running off the back of him or not getting tight enough to them in our box that need addressing that were exposed by West Ham & Spurs

Elliott’s best game by a country mile for us last time out after so much dross & disappointment from him prior to that m, as the saying goes “One swallow does not a summer make” let’s see if he can repeat the trick as there have been an awful lot of points dropped & working parts cast aside to accommodate him & try & aid his development with precious little in return for 3 seasons now including this one

Let’s get another win aiming for what should be a 91 point finish
