    Nice work sid, it's always good to get a broader perspective.
    Nunez does well, just not as clinical yet based on xG. He did overperfrom that more so before he joined us, hopefully he settles down and finds his 33% conversion rate again.

    Some excellent tracking back today.

    Also caused them some issues in the opening spell of the first half.

    Really pleased with him so far.

    He's getting there. Still very young don't forget. Think the language is a big problem for him, but today he looked like he is understanding the set up and the system, when to press, when to run behind, when to get back and defend, and when to expect an assist from Alison.

    A goal or assist every 92 mins for Núñez now.

    Hopefully he and Salah can return from the World Cup break (I know Salah isn't going) and get straight back to business.

    I just dont think he has the technique. He's never going to develop that first touch or finess needed at the very top end of the game.

    However, as long as he keeps contributing and causing the opposition defenders a worry with his pace then he'll be fine.

    Strikers that can manage to contribute without having the best first touch do come along once in a while.

    Inzaghi was a footballer who always "looked bad" for example - but the goals kept on coming.

    Not filing Núñez under that category just yet though.

    A number 9 that is in the thick of things creates chances has chances etc, I am happy all day. Plus the boy has scintillating pace and a bullet header. Anyone who compared him to Andy Carrol lol definitely chalk and cheese. Only comparison they are tall and can head the ball, think both are left footers as well. But ability wise Carroll miles of DN

    @OptaJoe

    6.2 - Darwin Núñez is averaging 6.2 shots per 90 in the Premier League, the highest average on record (from 2003-04) by a player in a single season in the competition (500+ mins). Chaos.
