    PL stats

    XGI Expected-Goal-lnvolvements /
    XGoals&Assists

    Player - XGI - Goals&Assists - Minutes played - G&A/Min - tackles&intercepts per game

    Darwin - 12.21 - 7&8 - 1,201 - 80 mins - 0.9
    Alvarez - 12.13 - 6&8 - 1,679 - 120 mins - 0.8
    Watkins - 12.00 - 9&11- 1,849 - 92 mins - 0.4
    Jackson - 11.85 - 7&2 - 1,449 - 181 mins - 0.6
    Solanke - 11.79 - 12&1 - 1,777 - 137 mins - 0.8
    A. Isak --- 11.29 - 10&0 - 1,136 - 114 mins - 0.4

    Halaand -- 16.12 - 14&5 - 1,294 - 68 mins - 0.3
    Mo Salah - 19.62 - 14&8 - 1,740 - 79 mins - 0.8

    Saka - 13.73 - 6&8 - 1,753 mins - 125 mins - 2.5
    Son - 11.25 - 12&5 - 1,690 mins - 99 mins - 1.1

    Jota - 4.83 - 7&5 - 754 mins - 63 mins - 1.4

Watkins ata glance is closest to doubling his XGI of 12.00 - Goals&Assists 20 - excluding Jota

Jota has the best goal-or-assist per minute stats - better than Halaand even.
And he's not just doubling his XGI
    He's 2.5 times his XGI !!
He's second to Saka the stand out ball winner.

The stats show Jota & Nunez for the top players they are presently.

Precisely - The geezer would worry you sick is you were defending against him. That’s why Klopp loves him and the fans love him.

The net result is chance after chance. But boy - IF he could start scoring too - his confidence would skyrocket and we could walk games in second gear.

Most woodwork hits in a season is 10-from-38 games, Robin van Persie in 2011/12 - Premier League games only - unsure about all comps.

Darwin has 9-in-21 in so far this season in the League - 12 in all comps.

Captain Chaos must be an alcoholic, as he loves to hit the bar.

He might be the player that entertains me most in World Football right now.

2 commentators on different broadcasters stated independently that they would pay just to see Darwin. That’s how entertaining he is.

I refuse to believe anyone in the history of the game has hit the post more times than Nunez. He has mastered it.

Robbie wasn’t having any of it. That was a real shame he didn’t get on the score sheet last night.

It leads to this kind of frustration even from and Anfield legend. This doesn’t help tbh.

Playing devils advocate here and this is not what I actually think but:

We can say it’s fine as long as he keeps getting in there and keeps affecting games and creating like he does… and that is 100% true IF he can keep that momentum while missing these guilt edged chances, but in the real world, it may be unlikely that his desire and ability to run and perform at that level can be sustained without the goal reward.

Needs to score some good goals and soon. We can’t build a team around the chaps created by one man.

Jurgen has said he left anfield the other night with a protective boot on. Nothing broke but a swollen foot.
So he's a doubt for Sunday.
