My concern has been sides protecting a lead by making 5 individual subs to really disrupt proceedings so the side chasing a goal can disrupt momentum.
To be fair we could take advantage of this ourselves, not that I particularly love deploying that stuff - like "buying a foul" and so on.
One solution I could foresee is limiting the 5 subs to 3 instances of making substitutions, so a side could, for example -
Sub 1 - bring on 2 players.
Sub 2 - bring on 1 player.
Sub 3 - bring on 2 players
(or 1, 2, 2 - or 2, 2, 1 etc)
- as opposed to -
Sub 1 - bring on 1 player.
Sub 2 - bring on 1 player.
Sub 3 - bring on 1 player.
Sub 4 - bring on 1 player.
Sub 5 - bring on 1 player.
Again, 60mins with a stop clock would stop all of that sillyness instantly.
Konate has a "knock" so won't be starting.
Damn friendly.

Five subs is huge, get it done get them off. Delighted it's back.
Need to win tomorow and get a statement set early on. With Arsenal and Spurs probably improving.. Its likely the points total will be lower to win the league this season. So a good start to the season is require.
Cleaning up the Scots since the 13th century
Who was it that always said “three points minimum” on here before games?
Anywho.. big call away in the Prem 19, pretty sure Fab’s starting tomorrow
