And he bent over backwards trying not to offend the owners while clearly pointing to the fact that HE doesn't have any say in what we spend. And while lamenting what the Bournemouth owners did, he also tried every way possible to say that YES Parker wasn't backed and he should have been.

Clear from this that he is borderline desperate and would really like to buy more players BUT at the same time doesn't want to go public with it as it will invariably affect the morale of the current crop and dilute the incredible work he does.

He must be a dream for FSG. He has afforded them so much leeway with his sterling work agains all the odds, but he looks closer now than I have ever seen....really close to being candid. Maybe that's why Big John and his moll came over

Klopp signs an extension and gets hardly anything for players.. guess his wages are taken into consideration when FSG get their abacus out

FSG were pretty tight fisted before the pandemic but since then. They have failed to furlough the staff and failed with the European league thingy..They have been twats since all this took place.. Been utterly miserly. Its like they are saying.. Well we tried to get more money in these ways.. So you'll have to like it and lump it

Sky had us listed as having a net spend of £85m for January window plus this.

That cannot be right surely. They continually use the add ons for Diaz and Nunez, when that money has not yet been spent. Our add ins are often high as we get the original buying price as low as possible in case they don’t work out.

Good business but don’t use the add ons til they kick in.

    Transfermarkt has it as
    22/23 -£4.59 mill
    21/22 -£51.71 Mill

£56.30 Mill net spent for those 2 seasons

my very simplistic question... If we played in every possible game last season..... won a double of things....spent nothing over the last season or so.....sold players to fund whats come in.........

    Where's the farkin money?

City have spent billions over the last decade, they can trade off that for a gold stretch. In fact I don’t know how they get away with any net spend at all after their obvious cheating of the system
