Why do we have this blind spot persistently injured players.

Thiago, Keita and Ox all injured half way into the first game of the season.

This is why so many of us want fresh blood in the midfield but not the club.

Thing is, I’m not Thiago’s biggest fan but he was excellent last week but like all 10 outfield players he hasn’t matched it this.

Elephant in the Liverpool Forum… Trent caught out at the far post for the umpteenth time. If Henderson is injured he might bring Gomez on and move Trent further up.

Opposition teams that know what they're doing are going to keep exploiting this hole in our backline until Trent realizes it and improves his defensive play massively.

I've said it many times before - I'd take it as a point of personal insult if I were him and came to the realization that most teams craft their attacks around the notion that I'm the weak link in the backline against whom you can just ghost in attackers to get easy tap-ins or headers.

And this is a team that was just promoted that already knows that.
