Rotation so important and as much as it's a Derby, we have to think Everton are one of the worst sides in the League - so when else would we?

Excellent efforts from Núñez and Diaz, decent bit of defending towards the end of the half from Trent.

Far from our best but with Diaz not here a full year, Tsimikas on, Elliott, Carvalho and Núñez on I don't think we can expect anything like our best.

Grinding out results is what matters for now. 0-0 at half-time is perfectly fine if we go on to win this.

True and we ground out many games in 2019 and 2020 with full strength starting lineup.

Do agree on Carvalho though. Him and Elliott is a bridge too far to start the game. Shame the lad got clobbered - but that is what these punks do. It’s all they can do
