    Brendan's at the wheel

    Brighton tank Leicester 5-2.
How much longer will City put up with the results?
There's too much confusion, I can't get no relief

"Certainly it is going to be a real test of character. But we have great quality. We are a real group. But, as I said, here is a totally different point that I didn't bring up before, despite having preceded these words with as I said. Quality human beings. Group. 79% of the time possession works, every time. It's like Sex Panther, as I said - just lacked that weeeee bit of luck in the final third"

    - Brendan, probably.

I reckon brendan would be better off resigning and let the owners find someone more suited to keeping them up

The Athletic has a story on the situation with Brendan today. Looks grim as expected. Could go now, might be a few more games. Club is £276 million in debt and is on a UEFA and FFP watch list. They would owe him two more years of high managerial wages somewhere around £10 million. They are surely in a relegation fight and going down would be shattering on top of that debt mountain.

A shame really. They achieved a miracle 7 years ago! How many of us wished we had put £5 on them at perhaps 5000/1 in the December of that season. Then that tragedy with the owner. Brendan should have stayed in Scotland. He was never a bad manager but not of the cut of the PL

Watching them now it’s hard to believe we had that damned 3-3 game with them last year that cost us dearly.

Didn’t we lose 1-0 at Leicester with Mo missing a pen? 3-3 away was at Brentford

Yes I think you are right.

We were 2-1 up and then 3-2 up on Brentford and couldn't close it out.

We definitely lost 1-0 to Leicester with Mó missing a pen ar 0-0
