Boxers have to pay for sparing partners and training camp and if you are American v UK fighter its hard to rebook venues.

Not everyone is loaded like Fury Canelo AJ who can soak up losses.

Nothing is impossible.

It's all about whether or not we can grind out the appropriate results prior to the reprieve that the World Cup will bring.

I also wonder if some players (Van Dijk?) are playing within themselves for fear of missing the Tournament and might show something closer to their best when they are back.

Ridiculous decision in my honest opinion. The premier League is already struggling to cram in the fixtures because of the World Cup. Should the country really come to a complete standstill? Not sure if this helps anyone.

All that being said, it might actually be a good thing for us. Not sure what kind of performance we would have got.
