Extremely dignified, in these days of z-list "personalities".
I don't think the monarchy will be the same now she's gone.
Utmost respect for a great lady, sad she is gone.
There's too much confusion, I can't get no relief

The end of a golden era, no doubt about that. She's been the monarch all of my 60 years; that's some achievement.

Things won't be the same. She was generally loved around the world and I don't get the impression that people will feel the same about Charles.
I bet you can squeal like a pig!

I genuinely felt sad, she just seemed like a really nice person. Like my Grandparents, from a generation of decent, hardworking people who just "got on with it". The post war generation.

It won't be Charles for long. I suspect after the funeral, and before the Coronation, he'll make a speech about the country needing a young, modern King etc, and that William is ready to step up and be the King for a generation.

It's a bit scary to think that most of us have never known a time without the Queen. We are used to a new prime minister every few years but this adds to the sense of uncertainty as we enter what could be very dark times. God save us all.

Not so sure, William has taken over Duchy of Cornwall and Prince of Wales, there's lots of associated red tape to get through. To say nothing of changing the banknotes and stamps!
